Step Up programme has begun. Sian~


Need to start lessons again and prepare for Sec 4, while the lower sec are having fun with post-exam activities. Our post exam activities are studying -.- Though there are no afternoon lessons for the Step Up programme, the time table really is.. boring. Its like almost the same lessons everyday. Seeing the same teachers everyday.

School is supposed to end on 30th Oct, but for the us it will be till 6th Nov due to the programme. Moreover, there's still Bio lessons everyday from 9-13 Nov! So my actual holiday starts on 13 Nov..

I think it will really be hard to find time for working. Can't even work for a month. Lol who will hire me man?

I think the only solution would be after O's..

Chemistry~


Lit~

For chem, was quite satisfied with Paper 1, but not so for paper 2. Paper 2 could have done better if I be less careless, and also studied more.

For Lit, was low. The paper was upon 50. And no one scored above 30. Only one 30 and the rest were 20+... So LOW. Sigh. Lit is so difficult to score high man!

Well, I guess my most shocking results was SS. I thought I would either fail or border line pass. Because I had almost not enough time to complete everything. I didn't write conclusions for both essays. I rushed through the last 2 SBQs too. And guess what, the paper is upon 50 marks, and in the end I got like 34.. Its considered low in my class since so many got 35 and above.. But to me I was like, lol.. My humanities all the while not very good one. For the last 2 SBQs, both was 7 marks each. I used about 10-15mins to complete this total 14 marks! So I rushed through this 2 questions, without even thinking much. I just scribbled what comes to mind immediately. Lol and in the end, I got one 6 marks, and 5 marks. I thought I would fail these 2 questions. Really surprising man~!

Next, about my phone.. K I gave up my old phone, W880i. It really pisses me off. I didn't save my contacts into the sim card, so, I lost all my contacts even though I changed to another phone. And I have so many contacts.. Now, I'll have a "great" time getting back all these contacts.. That really sucks.. Damn waste time. Why didn't I learn to autosave into sim card back then? I'm so funny. Yeah funny huh? K this time, for sure I'm gonna auto save the contacts into the sim card to prevent this scenario from happening again..

I'm damn pissed off now. My freaking phone can't be turned on. ZZZZZZZZ. F it.

I was trying to restart my phone just now. After I off it, I tried to turn it on again. But it can't turn on. All it has is this damn red light flashing at the keypad C. Wonder what is wrong with it.

Kay, I use my phone as alarm clock too. But now, I'm relying on this small little alarm clock.. I don't use alarm clocks because I find them not reliable. Sometimes they just don't ring. However, now I have no choice. Lol.. I'll just have to trust this small little blue alarm clock. Hope it rings @6.30am tmr..

Damn, I hate this few months man.. The Sun always shine into my room when its about 4pm in the afternoon. And it shines onto my table and my chair, where I'm sitting to use the com. Make till my laptop so freaking hot.. I think I'll shift myself out to the living room..


Anyway, I went swimming in the morning today. And its so crowded! So I didn't really swim much, but at least I completed my 10 laps of 50m.. Was tired, so I took a nap from 2 to 4 plus.. Woke up now, and decided to blog.

I should be blogging everyday this few days.. Cos I'm so damn free~ Watched just now on PPS, and its damn clear! High Definition. Its funny and ridiculous too! I think the show is NC16 because there's some sexual references.. It ended with so many naked people as audiences.. LOL.

Ok. Time doesn't fly as usual. Its passing so slowly after exams... so slow so slow..

I'm freaking bored~


I hate this feeling after Exams! I feel very ... blank!
Its like I don't have a routine or.. I don't know what to do after doing something..
Like after watching TV, I don't know what to do now.. That kinda feeling you know.. Damn sian one lei!
Before exams better sia, got homework and everything to occupy myself one after another. But now, so free, too free indeed.. I can now feel how painful it is without anything to do!

Damn, next time become senior citizen is it also like that de?? Sharks. I don't want sia..

Although before exams I already thought of doing many things after exams, but now like.. don't feel like it.. After exams, my whole person now become damn lazy... I need some motivations~

This is life? When its normal school days, we seek for holidays. But when it comes to holidays, we look forward to the opening of school..

Exams are OVER!!! I feel so 空虚 now.. Lol.


I wanna do so many things! I wanna work and earn money! I wanna brush up on my English! I wanna enjoy this moment as much as I could! I wanna finish watching all the dramas and movies! I wanna finish reading all my books! I wanna let my hair grow long! I wanna go out!

I've got three days to enjoy myself before the results are out.. I don't know if the results are.. you know.. Either disappointing or surprising..

Sec 3s have step up programme~ So for us, school will end on 6th of November, instead of 30th of October.. That's saddening, but also good in other words.. I'll still be occupied with school.

Kay I suddenly started Dota again after months.. Its ok, I won't get hook to it. Treat it as leisure only..

PHEW!~


EOY is ending!! I'm only left with physics paper 1 and chem paper 1! 60 MCQs!

I think I can't score A1 for my sciences already.. I have some explanation questions that I don't know how to do! And then I any how write.. hopefully can get at least some marks ba..

I think I'll score a so-so in my chem and physics, maybe a below average for Bio... Guess the only thing I'm satisfied is E-maths and A-maths this time bah..

Nvm, what's over is over! One exam doesn't determine anything, like my bro said. This exam even if do very well, or do very averaged, still the same, get promoted to Sec 4E. Yeah, so be more optimistic! :D I'm off to relaxxxxx.

Sleep Cycle.

Understanding sleep stages and the sleep cycle can help you get better sleep. Your sleep is regulated by an internal body clock, sensitive to light, time of day and other cues for sleep and awakening. When you fall asleep, your sleep goes in cycles throughout the night, moving back and forth between deep restorative sleep and more alert stages and dreaming. As the night progresses, you spend more time in dream sleep and lighter sleep.

There are two main types of sleep. REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep is when you do most active dreaming. Your eyes actually move back and forth during this stage, which is why it is called REM sleep. Non-REM (NREM) sleep consists of four stages of deeper and deeper sleep. Each sleep stage is important for overall quality sleep, but deep sleep and REM sleep are especially vital.

  • Stage 1 (Drowsiness) - Stage 1 lasts just five or ten minutes. Eyes move slowly under the eyelids, muscle activity slows down, and you are easily awakened.
  • Stage 2 (Light Sleep) - Eye movements stop, heart rate slows, and body temperature decreases.
  • Stages 3 & 4 (Deep Sleep) - You’re difficult to awaken, and if you are awakened, you do not adjust immediately and often feel groggy and disoriented for several minutes. Deep sleep allows the brain to go on a little vacation needed to restore the energy we expend during our waking hours. Blood flow decreases to the brain in this stage, and redirects itself towards the muscles, restoring physical energy. Research also shows that immune functions increase during deep sleep.
  • REM sleep (Dream Sleep) – At about 70 to 90 minutes into your sleep cycle, you enter REM sleep. You usually have three to five REM episodes per night. This stage is associated with processing emotions, retaining memories and relieving stress. Breathing is rapid, irregular and shallow, the heart rate increases, blood pressure rises, males may have penile erections, and females may have clitoral enlargement.

Each stage of sleep offers benefits to the sleeper. However, deep sleep is perhaps the most vital stage. It is the first stage that the brain attempts to recover when sleep deprived, and the strongest effects of sleep deprivation are from inadequate deep sleep. What might disrupt deep sleep? If you are caring for someone around the clock, whether it is a small infant or an elderly relative with a serious illness, you might need to attend to them suddenly in the middle of the night. Loud noise outside or inside the home might wake you. If you work the night shift, sleeping during the day may be difficult, due to light and excess noise during the day. Substances like alcohol and nicotine also disrupt deep sleep.

Maximize your deep sleep. Make sure your sleep environment is as comfortable as possible and minimize outside noise. If you are being awakened as a caregiver, make sure that you get some time of uninterrupted sleep, especially if you have had some unusually disruptive nights. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.

REM sleep, or dream sleep, is essential to our minds for processing and consolidating emotions, memories and stress. It is also thought to be vital to learning, stimulating the brain regions used in learning and developing new skills. Most of dreaming occurs during REM sleep, although it can happen during other sleep stages as well. There are different theories as to why you dream. Freud thought that dreams were the processing of unconscious desires. Today, researchers wonder if it may be the brain’s way of processing random fragments of information received during the day. Much of dreaming is still a mystery. If REM sleep is disrupted one night, your body will go through more REM the next to catch up on this sleep stage.
